The Fish Guys Philosophy

We take pride in the fact that we deal only in fresh and frozen seafood that is sourced, cut, and delivered according to the standards set in place when The Fish Guys was founded. Our seafood comes only from sources that comply with government regulations and policies, environmental protection, sustainability, food safety and quality.

We deliver seafood that is fresher than any other Midwest supplier. All fresh seafood is shipped direct from the source, removing any middlemen. That seafood then is cut to order and delivered that same day to guarantee it arrives to the customer at the pinnacle of freshness.

What it means to be Marine Stewardship Council Certified 
The MSC's fishery certification program and seafood eco-label recognize and reward sustainable fishing. They are a global organization working with fisheries, seafood companies, scientists, conservation groups and the public to promote the best environmental choice in seafood.
 
Between 1997 and 1999, the MSC worked with individuals and organizations around the world to develop the standards that form the MSC certification program for sustainable fishing and seafood traceability. MSC’s certification and traceability standards meet The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) guidelines that require assessments to be carried out by independent, third-party certifiers.
