Company History

The Fish Guys started in Northeast Minneapolis in 1993 supplying seafood to the food service and restaurant industries. In 1996, the company began supplying to retailers, in an effort to provide a better quality of product in a location far removed from most fishing ports.

After continued growth, the company moved into its current location on Royalston Avenue in 1998. The Fish Guys exceeds 3 million pounds of seafood delivered on a yearly basis to over 300 restaurants and five major retailers.
 
We specialize in the delivery of the freshest possible seafood and shellfish product, as well as a full line of frozen seafood. With a global distribution and shipping network, we are sourcing product from the United States, as well as from over 50 other countries. We are proud to be the first distributor in Minnesota to be certified by the Marine Stewardship Council.
